During the visit, students gained exposure to food processing operations, product diversification, and value addition in dairy products. They learned about supply chain management, procurement systems, inventory control, and distribution networks, along with the cooperative model connecting farmers, processors, and consumers. The tour also highlighted modern technology and automation in dairy operations, including advanced machinery, automated filling and packing units, refrigeration systems, and computerized monitoring.
