About the college

In 1859, St. John Bosco (1815–1888), affectionately known as Don Bosco, founded the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB)—a Roman Catholic religious congregation of priests and brothers headquartered in Italy. Today, the Salesians serve in 132 countries, offering young people a strong foundation for their future through holistic education and mentorship.

At the heart of Don Bosco’s vision was education—a transformative force rooted in love, kindness, and selfless service. He pioneered an integrative approach to learning that nurtures the body, heart, mind, and spirit. His globally recognized Preventive System is built on three key principles:

  • Reason (Intellectual Growth – IQ)

  • Relationship (Emotional Growth – EQ)

  • Religion (Spiritual Growth – SQ)

What makes Don Bosco institutions unique is the family-like atmosphere, creating a true "home away from home." As Don Bosco himself said, “It is not enough to love the young. They must know that they are loved.”
